A native of Greenville County, SC and currently resides in Fountain Inn SC. He is the Senior Pastor of Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church in Gray Court, SC where he grew up as a young child. Pastor Jones promotes the love of God, self and neighbor through the gospel of peace.
Pastor Jones was licensed to preach in December of 1996 as the 1st son of Pleasant View Baptist Church by his late Pastor Waddy L Talley Sr.
Pastor Jones was later called to pastor the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Laurens, SC from June of 2002 until October of 2024. After twenty-one faithful years of service Pastor Jones received a divine assessment to return back home to Pleasant View Baptist Church. In addition, Pastor Jones is currently serving as 1st Vise Moderator of Union #1 and as a member of the Tumbling Shoals Association Executive Board. Pastor Jones holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from Mars Hill University in NC and Pursued a Master of Biblical Exposition at Andersonville Theological Seminary in Georgia.

Pastor Jones shares his spiritual assignment with his beloved wife of 28 years, 1st Lady, Reverend Tomasena Jones. She was licensed and ordained in 2010 to preach and to serve alone side Pastor Jones. Reverend Tomasena is a dynamic preacher and teacher and is well know for her gift. They stand together to make a difference in the kingdom of God and to serve the people of God. With Pastor C. Lamont and Reverend Tomasena Jones what you see is what you get. As the scripture declares " How can two walk together except they be in agreement." Amos 3:3.
